Nut pancakes are a tasty and hearty dish that is perfect for breakfast or dessert. They are made from fresh cottage cheese and enriched with the aroma and crispy texture of crushed nuts. Ready pancakes can be served with syrup, honey, or fresh fruits.

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese - 500 g
  • Eggs - 2 pieces
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Flour - 5 tablespoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Crushed nuts (any kind, for example, walnuts, hazelnuts) - 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Cooking steps:

  1. In a large bowl, mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well with a fork or use a blender to get a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Add flour and crushed nuts to the cottage cheese mixture. Mix until you get a homogeneous dough. If the dough is too thick, you can add a little milk to thin it out.
  3. Heat a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Spoon or shape small balls of dough with your hands and flatten them gently on the pan to make flat pancakes.
  5. Fry the pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Place the cooked pancakes on a plate to cool slightly before serving.
